Google to Launch In-Car Android and Other News You Need to Know

The French government introduced a new law that requires app-based car services to wait 15 minutes before picking up a customer, Forbes reports. The delay should make the playing ground more even for traditional taxi services.

A new report from The Wall Street Journal points to the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show as the launch pad for Google’s in-car system. According to the report, Google and German automaker Audi AG plan to announce a partnership to develop in-car entertainment. LG will bring webOS to the TV. The company is expected to reveal a smart TV built around webOS functionality.
