Google Introduces Blink and Other News You Need to Know

Welcome to this morning's edition of "First To Know," a series in which we keep you in the know on what's happening in the digital world.

Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. On Wednesday, Google announced Blink, an open-source rendering engine based on the WebKit system that powers certain browsers. Disney has shut down LucasArts, the video game development branch of its Lucasfilm acquisition. Finally, Twitter has redesigned its Android app to more closely follow the rest of the operating system’s style.
