Some updates have been released for Google Documents (you know, the old Writely), according to Google Blogoscoped. The tabs at the top of the page has been replaced with a more traditional menu bar which will be easier for new (and existing) users to take advantage of, because of its familiarity to a certain Microsoft Word desktop application.
A few other shifts have made overall navigation easier as well. For instance, the HTML edit mode has been moved to the Edit menu options, and the Revision History has been tacked onto the File menu options. Google Blogoscoped has a bit of Writely history via screen shots, if you'd like more detail on how the web-based app has evolved.
