Google Drive Updated With New Tools and Subtle Touch of Color

Google Drive is rolling out a few visual updates to its platform, including more color and tools.

The home to Google Docs, which allows users to store files in the cloud, received some subtle new touches across multiple pages on Tuesday to docs, sheets, slides, drawings, forms and app scripts.

Each editor’s product icon is displayed in the header, serving as a shortcut link to your files in Drive. The overall look is cleaner, too; the header is more compact and aims to help you "focus on what matters most -- your content," according a blog post on the company's website.

Corresponding colors have also been added to each page. Google Docs pages will include a touch of blue (in the upper-left corner), while Sheets are green and Slides have orange.
