Today, Google announced that it's bringing streaming financial and market news to Google Finance. News will be streamed from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. ET, offering a 90-minute buffer around U.S. trading hours. Streaming quotes and streaming news will make it easier for those who want to keep an eye on what's going on -- and you don't have to constantly refresh.

News will be streamed both from the main Google Finance page and in the dedicated news area. Google has also been beta testing a Google Finance site that is more accessible in real-time overall. Recent quotes are streamed live as you navigate through the Google Finance site; company stock information now appears in real-time if the market is open and related companies' tables are computed on-the-fly in real-time.
