The annual Forbes Magazine list of the richest Americans has been released, and the Top 5 has two new entrants tied for the 5th position: Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the founders of Google. Worth an estimated $18.5 each, they still have a long way to go if they hope to steal 1st slot away from list mainstay, Bill Gates who clocks in this year with $59 billion.
Entrance to this years list bottomed out at $1.3 billion, up $300 million from last year's list. While the United States economy may be a bit shaky as of late, it seems the old saying of "the rich keep getting richer" seems to still hold true.
