Watch This Bride Walk Down the Aisle With Google Glass

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue -- and Google Glass, too.

A bride walked down the aisle sporting Google's high-tech specs earlier this year. A minute-long video, which was posted to YouTube in September, shows an outdoor wedding ceremony through the eyes of Jessica Kuan, who married Steven Soong on Aug. 23.

“My husband and I have a love for technology. We wanted to use Google Glass to capture the most intimate moment of our lives," Kuan said in an emailed statement. “All my friends told me they were so emotional that they actually forgot walking down the aisle. This was an experience I never want to forget.”

The video was part of "Ok Glass, I do," a collaborative project between wearable-technology research firm Vandrico and Jess Sloss, a communications consultant with the company. It aims to "showcase, and provide commentary on, the impact that the increasing prevalence of wearable technology has on our culture," Sloss told Mashable. The project's website is currently offline, but a cached version can be viewed, here.

Kuan appears to be the first bride to publicly walk down the aisle while wearing Google Glass; however, a report in November said author and social-media commentator Marsha Collier was the first.
