Google Is Working on HUD Goggles

Google is working on a prototype of wearable glasses with a display and a heads-up computer interface, 9to5 Google reports. The glasses will reportedly sport a front-facing camera with flash, and they'll respond to voice input.

Mark Zuckerberg Might Have to Pay $2 Billion in Taxes

If Mark Zuckerberg exercises the option to buy an additional 120 million Facebook shares (he currently owns 414 million shares) following Facebook's IPO, he might have to pay up to $2 billion in taxes, Forbes reports. For comparison, the top 400 paid income taxes in the U.S. in 2011 totaled "only" $19.6 billion.

BlackBerry App World Stats Revealed

The BB App World averages 6 million downloads per day (around 174 million per month) according to RIM's VP for Developer Relations Alec Saunders. Overall, users have downloaded more than 2 billion apps so far, and Saunders says the App World generates 40% more revenue for developers than the Android Market, which would make it the second most profitable mobile platform, behind Apple's iOS.
