Google Mother's Day Doodle Helps You Create a Sweet Card For Mom

Google has outdone itself for Mother's Day this year.

The search giant released an interactive Google Doodle on Sunday that actually creates cards for mom, which are designed to look like the kind of arts and crafts projects she would want to pin up on your family's refrigerator.

When you press the play button on this Google doodle, you'll see options to draw your mom, or choose flowers or a gift. From there, you'll have options to customize the kind of "materials" used in the drawing (crayons, scrapbooks, pasta and beans) and to design the border for the image.

"Naturally, we wanted to mix it up a bit and take things one step further ... with something like a full-on card-building machine," Mike Dutton, one of Google's doodlers, wrote in a blog post. "Almost as if Google the Search Engine had a mom of its own and wanted to make some artwork for her."

In all, Google came up with 27 different Mother's Day card designs this year. Best of all, Google offers the option to share the designs and even print a high-res version of the card -- the first time a Google Doodle has ever offered that option.
