Google News Improves Advanced Search Features

Google News has added some search features that make it much easier to track down an article, especially one you are trying to remember from a few days ago. The improved “advanced search” feature allows you to enter in both your search term and a partial source name, and will offer suggestions as you type for potential sources.

Additionally, if you’re not sure of the source name, you can just enter in part of it, such as “New York” and see results that only come from sources with New York in the title.

To test it out, I tried to recall where I first saw a story about the commercial of Mike Huckabee being endorsed by Chuck Norris. I figured “Fox News” was a logical for the Republican candidate, and sure enough, I found the news and a link to a video.
