Google Play Update Brings Wishlist, Improves Upgrade Notifications

Android users should see an update to Google Play, as the online store rolls out its latest version, number 3.9.16.

Among its new features is the Wishlist, which lets users save a list of apps and other Play store items to look at for a later time. They can also add items to their list by visiting an app page, and clicking the Wishlist icon on the top-right corner.

App upgrade notifications have also been improved -- they are now expandable, and enable users to see a list of apps that are ready for an upgrade.

Lastly, users can easily delete apps from the My Apps panel, which lists all the apps you've ever downloaded and can become quite crowded. They can select multiple entries for mass deletion with a prolonged press of a button. If users select an app that is currently installed, however, they won't be able to remove it from the list.
