Google Play Gets a New Look in Version 4.1.6

Google has updated its Google Play store for Android to version 4.1.6, bringing a change in design and several other improvements.

The new, colorful home buttons (Apps, Games, Movies, Music, Books and Magazines) on Google Play are the biggest visual change in this release. There were also updates to the Application pages, as well as the Wishlist, which now shows apps in rows of three.

Other new features include slight changes to functionality. For example, as Android Police notes, Update All now works for apps with new permissions, and the Play store now warns users about large updates when they're on a mobile-data connection.

Android owners can wait for an over-the-air update, or install it as an APK file.
