If you're not usually the card-mailing type, Google has you covered. The company has launched a Gmail holiday card service. Using the Web form, you can send a postcard with your choice of design to anyone in the United States (one free card per person, it appears).
The idea is pretty cute. You can enter in a message up to 255 characters long along with the recipient's name and address, and then you can select what type of design you want on the postcard

Google says that cards containing inappropriate content will not be mailed -- so pranksters, be warned. The company also says that the information will only be used for the purposes of sending the postcard and won't be retained.
