A handful of new cities have reportedly been added to the Google Street Views Maps, according to an unofficial Google Earth Blog. I hope you hid your faces, if you happen to live in Kansas City, Missouri, Juneau, Alaska, Boise, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, Raleigh/Durham/Cary, or Manchester.
Google is clearly branching out as much as possible from the radius of large cities that Google Street Views began with, last year. Taking a quick glimpse around some of the new cities, it's also clear that Google isn't nearly as strict with its privacy policies for images taken in the US as in certain areas of Europe, but perhaps that speaks to the reality TV/voyeuristic nature of our great citizens here in the states. I'm still one for blurring out faces and license plates, regardless of the additionally daunting shadow the extra task would cast over an already daunting project, but that's just me.
