Google Honors Veterans With Circus Performance

Google is teaming up with the Big Apple Circus to bring laughs to America's veterans, in person, as well as live on both YouTube and Google+

As a part of Veterans Week NYC, the Big Apple Circus will perform their newest show Legendarium, on Wednesday. Veterans, active duty service members and their families will watch beneath a big top at Lincoln Center. In light of the recent hurricane, first responders during Sandy will also be in attendance to receive thanks, and a few chuckles, from the clowns, elephants and juggling acrobats.

A full military color guard, including a performance of the national anthem by the USO Show Troupe, will kick off the show. And Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Captain Paul Bucha of the U.S. Army will join in on the fun under the big top as a guest ringmaster.

This year marks the 237th anniversary of the United States Marines.

What other interesting ways have you seen the veterans be honored for their service?
