Google is facing copyright infringement charges from New York start-up CamUp over a video-sharing feature used on Google's social network, Google+.

The lawsuit accuses Google of stealing the "watch with your friends" button from CamUp. The button currently directs users from YouTube to a Google+ Hangout page where multiple people can video chat while viewing video content together.

CamUp claims Google unlawfully implemented the concept after a meeting in 2011 where both groups met to discuss possible future collaboration. The company is seeking damages and an injunction to ban use of the button on YouTube and Google+.
