As useful as it is to have an LED lamp sitting around for, say, reading in bed, the Switchback has one more trick up its shade. The LED light mechanism pops out to become an ultra-bright, 130-lumen headlight.
We took a look at the Gorillatorch Blade a few months back and were happy with its ability to mount to most surfaces and direct light where users need it. A headlamp will always be a better lighting option, however, because it directs light exactly where one's head is facing.
