You can never really go wrong with celebrities and selfies. Ellen DeGeneres confirmed that fact first, though we know she would've benefited from having a selfie stick on hand.

This year, Mashable partnered with The Grammys to bring you a unique experience from the red carpet. As performers made their way to the awards show, our team camped out at the first-ever selfie stick booth to give the Twitterverse an inside look at their favorite artists.

"The selfie stick was generally loved by all," said Mashable's Snapchat guru, Dasha Battelle, who was manning the booth alongside our associate entertainment editor, Brian Hernandez. "It allowed passers-by to take quick, silly, casual pictures of themselves. Plus, the sticks were gold and bedazzled. Win!"

It's true -- the blinged-out selfie sticks attracted all kinds of celebs, from a cappella group Pentatonix, to early 2000s pop sensation Jesse McCartney and power couple Kimye. @TheGRAMMYs tweeted out the photos in real-time, and they were a hit -- you can see all of them here.

"Viewers were able to see genuine, fun snapshots of the stars as they made their way down the carpet," said Dasha. "We can all look at polished pictures of celebrities online, but it's not so often that we get to see raw, real-time shots of them with their guard down."

Snapchat was another place for fans to experience behind-the-scenes moments from the show. In addition to the 2015 Grammy Awards "Our Story" the platform produced, Mashable provided its own exclusive look at celebrities making their grand entrances.
