The makers of Grand Theft Auto said Lindsay Lohan sued to get attention when she claimed the video-game series' latest installment features a character based on her.

In Manhattan court papers made public Tuesday, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and subsidiary Rockstar Games call the case frivolous, and maintain it was "filed for publicity purposes." They want the case dismissed, and are demanding the Mean Girls star pay their legal fees.

Lohan's lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The embattled actress sued in July over Grand Theft Auto V. Her suit says the game uses her image, voice and style, and that her likeness is evident in a character named Lacey Jonas.

In Grand Theft Auto V, players encounter Lacey on a mission where you help her escape the paparazzi. Lacy is a famous Vinewood (the game's take on Hollywood) actress whose dialog indicates that she has an eating disorder.

Take-Two said Lohan's voice, name and likeness weren't used in the game, and that Lacey resembles the actress only in that she is a young, blonde woman.
