'Grand Theft Auto V' Map Leak Exposes Enormous Game World

Warning: This post may negatively impact your Grand Theft Auto V experience with spoilers.

When Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto V, the company promised the most expansive game world ever. The game's map -- leaked on Reddit -- confirms Rockstar kept its promise. Los Santos appears really big in the map included in GTA V packaging.

The southern portion of the map shows a sprawling city with an expansive Los Santos County surrounding it. We knew from previously released information that lots of activities can happen in the outer reaches of Los Santos County, such as racing, skydiving and more.

Through Grand Theft Auto V's three protagonists, which you can switch among at any point, players can freely experience different parts of Los Santos.

To see if Rockstar's claim was really true, NeoGAF user Gangxxter compared it to the maps of GTA: San Andreas, GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption.

A fan also posted an interactive version of the Los Santos map on SketchFab, so you can zoom in to the landscape and rotate it.
