Simple to use and able to browse contact information as well as video content, the gCard offers members of the Graspr network the convenience to freely create business card-like devices to be published in any number of places around the Web, enabling users to reach more parties that can be helpful in growing their particular video production(s). In the world of new media, just as with the “old” crowd, such connections surely prove important to producers’ fortunes.

Not only can the gCard be pushed to various websites for the sake of promoting one’s brand through an interactive utility, Graspr explains that the same information is “seamlessly embedded within every video a producer publishes.” So if your tendency is to publish video on a website and you forgo any social networking profile management, you need not hand over a gCard independent of your video clips.

In practice, placing one’s cursor over a Graspr video window itself will present a small icon on the right hand side. Move the cursor over the scripted ‘g’ and an information bar will extend out to the left. Click on the bar and the entire window will soon fill with details of the publisher’s contact information and video archive. Here is an example which you can test for yourself.
