We've reached peak Texas, y'all.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott was frustrated about the Dallas Cowboys' 26-20 overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night. So he did what many fans do: He took to Twitter to vent about his team letting him down.

Upset about the Dallas defense -- two late Saints scoring drives gave New Orleans a comeback win -- Abbott compared the unit to...drumroll please...his state's "porous" border with Mexico.

*#%>¥! @Cowboy defense. More porous than the Texas border.— Greg Abbott (@GregAbbott_TX) October 5, 2015

The Cowboys defense lets offensive players through it so that they can reach the end zone, where hopes and dreams are made -- just like Texas's border with Mexico. Until we get that border-wall, at least.

Do you see what he did there? Do you?

To recap, that's the governor of Texas just watching some football and lamenting the Dallas Cowboys' lack of defense by comparing it to the "porous" U.S.-Mexico border.

Central casting couldn't have drawn this one up any better.
