Sorry, we got stuck in a time loop.

Starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell, the 1993 film follows an exasperated weatherman as he is forced to relive Feb. 2 until he corrects his actions.

Groundhog Day will get its musical adaptation courtesy of the creators of Broadway's Matilda, including director Matthew Warchus and composer Tim Minchin. Danny Rubin, one of the original film's screenwriters (the other is the late Harold Ramis), will collaborate on writing.

Casting has yet to be decided, but pray to the Broadway gods (Nathan Lane?) that Murray himself will star.

Groundhog Day the musical will open on March 9, 2017, with previews beginning Jan. 23, 2017.
