'There is no shadow to be cast': Famous groundhog predicts early spring season

Pennsylvania's famous weather-predicting groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, failed to see his shadow on Feb. 2 just before 7:30 a.m at sunrise. Therefore, he "predicted" an early spring.
