According to Kara Swisher of All Things Digital, Guardian Media Group has dished out some serious cash for one of the best business/tech blogs around: paidContent.
The news is now official, however ATD scooped it before the official embargo - kudos to them. Not all details of the deal are officially disclosed, but Swisher claims that the price paid was over 30 million dollars; a hefty sum, considering that Ars Technica was recently acquired by Conde Nast for $25 million. It's not a fixed price, however: some of it will be paid in earn-out, depending on how well paidContent performs in the years to come.
