'The Guardian' Lets Readers Switch Off Royal Baby News

Tired of Royal Baby news? The Guardian hears you.

The UK-based newspaper has fixed a linked at the top right of its homepage that lets you toggle between its normal Royal Baby-filled front page and a version that has no mention of the Royal Baby whatsoever -- and a lot more sports and entertainment coverage instead.

To switch the pages in the United States or Australia version, click "Not a royalist?"; in the UK, click on the "Republican?" prompt. (Note that in the UK, a republican is not a member of a specific political party, but one who supports a republican style of government over a monarchy.)

The Guardian created a similar tool for Prince William and Middleton's wedding two years ago.

Kensington Palace, the press arm of the British royal family, has confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton, has gone into labor. According to multiple reports, she was admitted to St. Mary's hospital in London just before 6 a.m. Monday morning UK time.
