Clokey's best-known animated characters were Gumby and his horse Pokey, which were popular during the 1950s and 60s.
Gumby experienced a comeback in the 80s after Eddie Murphy parodied the character on Saturday Night Live, and a full feature animated movie called Gumby: The Movie was released in 1995.
