Minutes after President Barack Obama finished his nationwide address regarding immigration reform Thursday evening, Secret Service officials arrested a woman with a gun outside the White House.

The Michigan woman, 23-year-old April Lenhart, was walking along the north fence line of the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue around 8:30 p.m. with a 9mm handgun in a holster around her waist, a Secret Service official told CBS. Obama was in the White House at the time.

Secret Service agents are questioning the unidentified woman, who may face charges since her firearm, was not registered, CBS reported.

The arrest comes on the heels of high-profile Secret Service flaps regarding fence jumpers and security lapses at the White House.
