While the Dove campaign -- also from Ogilvy & Mather -- uses a sketch artist to illustrate women's low self-esteem about their looks, the guys in these Norelco ads are quite taken with themselves. "I'd snuggle up with me," one says while preening in the mirror. "I'd build sandcastles with me," says another. The pep talks culminate with "I'd FAQ me." The contrast between the campaigns shows that Mars and Venus may be too closes. The two sexes are from different galaxies and that's pretty FAQ-ed up.
