Charlie White is a former senior editor for Mashable, where he was responsible for gadget news and reviews and was editor of the site’s weekend coverage.Before joining Mashable, Charlie was deputy editor of NBC Universal’s DVICE, senior associate editor for gadget site Gizmodo, and executive producer of Digital Media Net. Since 1994, he's written more than 9,000 articles for websites and magazines such as Wired, Maximum PC and Popular Science.In a previous life he spent 30 years as an Emmy award-winning television producer/director, directing five national TV series for public television. His personal interests include writing books, watching good movies, hanging out with the book club at burger joints, and puzzling over inexplicable peculiarities.
