It seems like those health nuts out there can never seem to leave the gym -- however, it's totally possible that they have no choice.
Nicholas Clayton of Clearwater, Florida was simply enjoying a nice, relaxing sauna after his workout at the local LA Fitness, when he discovered that the gym had accidentally locked him inside the facility after closing time at 5 p.m.
Clayton documented his astonishment in a video on Facebook, which he also uploaded to YouTube. "What LA Fitness closes at 5 o’ clock?” he says in the short video.

Apparently, the staff did not check bathrooms or private areas like the sauna before locking up for the day. And, to be fair, 5 p.m. does seem obscenely early to be closing, especially for all the office workers out there who would be missing out on their after work fitness routines.
After his initial shock wore off, Clayton began to find a solution to his problem. While he mentioned calling the police in the video, his first instinct was to call his mom. Of course, according to a comment on Facebook, mom found the whole situation hilarious. Thanks, mom.
Luckily for Clayton, his story did not end with him sleeping on an elliptical. Eventually, he was able to contact management and verify that he could simply walk exit without triggering an alarm.
