Start pages are part of a long tradition of web surfing. They can provide you with all the information you want in one place, giving you a start portal to the rest of the web. However, a new one making the rounds caught our attention: Guzzle. It's a quick-and-easy replacement to your standard RSS reader, a customizable start page, and a decent way to track specific topics across the social media space, due to its ability to track multiple feeds quickly.
Guzzle works in three simple steps. First, you add topics - this can be anything from iPhone to Mashable to Astronomy, because you type in the term rather than choosing from categories (we welcome this). Second, you arrange topics into columns and organize them using separators. Finally, you choose display options - in my case, I made sure I saw both the title and the source of each item, and I bolded my titles. And there, you a Guzzle start page.
