When Gwendoline Christie isn't filming Game of Thrones, Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, or The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, she likes to take a load off in the middle of Parisian runways.

The actress seemed to be asleep on the catwalk at Dutch designer Iris van Herpen's Spring '16 fashion show in Paris on Tuesday. During the production three surrounding sculptures wove fabric onto Christie, using 3D-printing and laser cutting.

Van Herpen -- no rookie to innovation -- is known for using progressive techniques and creative materials each season. This collection in particular, called Quaquaversal (meaning going in all directions), utilized 3D printing and laser cutting technology. Some outfits looked as if they were made from "weightless silvery metal," Vogue reports.

“[Her] work reveals the secret structures of our existence, giving us a multidimensional experience of what it is to be alive,” Christie tells Dazed. “It is an investigation into the past, present and future in all its primal and mythological forms.”

This is not the first time Christie has dabbled in the fashion industry and Paris Fashion Week specifically. Last February, she walked in Vivienne Westwood's Fall 2015 runway show and appeared in the designe'rs Winter 2015/16 campaign.
