If you see such a message coming from your account, change your password immediately. You should also revoke Twitter access to all suspicious applications. You can do that by logging into Twitter, clicking on “Settings” in the upper-right drop-down menu, choosing “Connections” or "Applications" and clicking “Revoke Access” on suspicious apps.
