Hailstones the size of softballs fell across parts of Texas on Monday. The hail damaged cars and home properties. Hail as large as 4.25 inches in diameter fell in Wylie, Texas. The damage was so extensive that the Wylie school district canceled classes at all of its 18 campuses.
