Halloween is a rough time for candy. It's a popularity contest. After all, Smarties and Snickers are not afforded the same respect.

It's basically high school for treats.

1. Most popular: Reese's peanut butter cups

They're adorable. They're delicious room temperature or frozen. They pair well with ice cold milk or a beer. They are sought after and admired. *licks screen*

2. Teacher's pet: Organic date-nut balls

Low fat. High energy. Organic. Obnoxious in their wholesomeness.

3. Most emo: Candy corn

They are delicious. Then they are terrible. Then you eat so many of them you get sick. You just don't know how to feel about them. And they don't know how to feel about themselves.

4. Most likely to succeed: Snicker's bar

Peanuts, caramel, nougat and chocolate. It's perfect if you're hungry. It's perfect if you want something sweeter than dark chocolate but not as sugary as candy corn. It's satisfying even in a small size and stays fresh for, like, decades. This treat's got longevity.

5. Cutest couple: Kit Kats

You an't eat just one of these sweet, crunchy cookies. They look so great in a pair...let's keep them together and watch the romance blossom.
