Last year I also went Halloween logo hunting (time flies fast, it feels like yesterday), and I didn't really think much of the logos I saw; in fact, most were quite ugly and/or unimaginative. Let's see if they fare better this year.
We'll start with Ask.com, which (just like last year) turned its entire home page into a huge Halloween celebration, and this time it's no different. I'd like that forest to be a bit scarier, though.
Yahoo has a very cool animated logo again; wait a while to see zombies come out of the ground and dance.
FriendFeed also decided to join the Halloween fun this year with a cute little ghost & pumpkin logo.
Iwon may not be an instantly recognizable name, but they've had a nice Halloween logo in the past (as noticed by our readers) and this year they've done it again - in fact, the entire site is Halloween-themed. Good job!
Cafemom, another Web site that surprised us with a good logo last year has a Halloween-themed logo again. I love that Zorro-style pumpkin.
Google.com - after last year's atrocity, Google has come to its senses and put up a pretty neat Halloween logo. All the whiteness of the site, however, still kills all attempts at a spooky Halloween atmosphere.
YouTube is up too, and the logo they've put up this year is also much better than that lame pumpkin they went with last Halloween. Thanks to Drazen for the tip!
MocoSpace has taken it a step further with a huge Halloween themed wallpaper. This one is definitely our favorite so far. Thanks to Jim for finding out this one.
