In 2014, painter and illustrator Hannah Rothstein brought classic art to the dining room table through "Thanksgiving Special". Her photo series arranged mundane holiday foods (think: turkey and cranberry sauce) in the style of artists like René Magritte and Mark Rothko.

This November, she's revived the series with a new set of artists, from Georgia O'Keeffe to Gustav Klimt. Had these artists been editorial food stylists, these would have been their greatest pieces.

"This year, I wanted to include a bit more diversity in the series, both in terms of artists' backgrounds and visual presentation," Rothstein tells Mashable via email. "In addition, I had my eye out for artists with distinct visual language."

Ten artists, three days of food styling and two days of photo editing later, her sequel series, "Thanksgiving Special: Seconds" is complete.

Prints from Rothstein's series are available for purchase on her website. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the San Francisco Food Bank.
