Literary world, stars mourn the loss of author Harper Lee

The literary world lost one of its most enigmatic stars.

Harper Lee, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of To Kill a Mockingbird, passed away at 89 on Feb. 19.

Authors and celebrities have mourned the author on social media, sharing stories and favorite quotes from her work.

The Fault in Our Stars writer John Green tweeted multiple times about Lee's death, sharing an anecdote about how she signed a copy of his book Looking for Alaska with a special inscription for his son, Henry Atticus (named for Atticus Finch).
