When you stop to think about it, the Harry Potter series has a few fundamental similarities to the coming-of-age dramedy The Breakfast Club. First and foremost, though the two classics occur during different time periods and in different worlds, both stand as iconic symbols of a generation. And both, though targeted toward a young-adult audience, are beloved by fans of all ages and from just about every possible demographic.
