All good things must come to an end, and with the end of summer comes the end of Mashable and The Home Depot's Call to Hacktion.
Back in June, Mashable joined forces with The Home Depot to challenge our communities to take regular household items and hack them into cool new projects. By submitting with the hashtag #HDHacks, anyone from our communities could hack together something awesome for a chance to be featured on Mashable.
We were awed by the innovative uses people found for common items around their houses; from turning a tire into a table, to an awesome headboard made out of a door -- we were impressed with the creativity and ingenuity of the #HDHacks submissions.
We want to give a big thanks for everyone who participated in the #HDHacks Call to Hacktion, and if you still want ideas for DIY inspiration you can check out The Home Depot Tumblr to get your creative juices flowing!
We've gathered our 10 favorite #HDHacks submissions below for you to check out.
