The days of screaming "NO! DON'T GO INTO THE BASEMENT!" during a cheesy horror movie may be behind us, if the folks over at Pixels Per Second have their way.

The sketch comedy group behind The Matrix Retold by Mom takes on the very foundations of the horror genre with "HELL NO: The Sensible Horror Film." Throughout the video, writer/director Joe Nicolosi mercilessly pokes fun at woodsman chainsaw murderers, pan-dimensional demons and giant space monsters.

We're just happy to see some characters in a horror setting with the common sense of an average 14-year-old.
