All hell breaks loose in the second corpse-filled trailer for Hercules, as the gods unleash the monsters from the underworld into mythical Greece.
To the rescue comes the title character, played by Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson, who vanquishes his "I'm no hero" mindset in order to seek revenge for his family's death and to save everyone from impending bloody doom.

The trailer dropped Tuesday, giving anxious fans a deeper look at Hercules' menacing foes, some of which Paramount Pictures highlighted in a series of GIFs on Tumblr:
Based on British comics writer Steven Moore's Hercules series, the movie also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan and John Hurt.
The Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures film hits theaters July 25.
