hi5, the online social network, announced new partnerships with Portugal Telecom and eType today, to provide media representation in Portugal and the U.K.
The main note here is that these partnerships enable hi5 to expand its ad network, and works closely with existing traditional media outlets to do so. These kinds of partnerships are especially important when it comes to having a global marketing strategy. With hi5's proprietary advertising platform, ads can be delivered in a very targeted manner. As a strong user base exists in Portugal for hi5's network, this was a priority for building on the opportunity for marketing purposes.
