Hictu, the Twitter competitor now known for its video micro-blogging capabilities, is getting ready to release a new version of its service, full of new features.
There's now the ability to rate posts and other users, and the top users based on vote will now show on the home page. Nesting comments are also on the site, letting you reply to other comments. You can also create channels for discussing topics with your friends, and choose your privacy setting for your profile, including your status across several major instant messaging clients. There's also the ability to delete certain posts, and Hictu now supports Jaiku feeds. Email alerts have been added so you know when another user leaves a comment on one of your posts.
