If we've learned anything from the new set of Hillary Clinton emails that the State Department released on Monday, it's that Clinton has mastered the fine art of nicknames -- a quality we should all take into consideration in the voting booth.

Among the 7,800 pages of emails released, one stood out: On Jan. 22, 2012, Clinton referred to Mitt Romney as "Mittens" and Newt Gingrich as "Grinch." Awww.

“If Mittens can’t beat Grinch in Florida, there will be pressure on state Republican parties to reopen or liberalize ballot access especially in the caucuses, which as we know are creatures of the parties’ extremes,” Clinton wrote in an email to longtime confidante Sidney Blumenthal.

Some Americans actually believe that Mitt is short for "Mittens," according to a poll conducted by Vanity Fairand 60 Minutes in 2012, when Romney was the Republican frontrunner. His real first name is Willard, which isn't nearly as fun; his middle name is Mitt.
