An HIV-positive Finnish man wants to challenge people with a simple request -- reaching out and touching him.
For a social experiment, a man named Janne stands in a busy square with a sign on either side of him reading "I am HIV-positive -- touch me!" He closes his eyes against the sun and reaches his arms gently out to his sides.
Then, he simply waits.

At first, dozens of people walk by, reading his sign but making no move to come near him. One woman even does a double-take and shakes her head in disapproval.
But slowly, the tide changes. One woman comes over to squeeze his hand. He squeezes back, overwhelmed. People start coming up to him, touching his shoulders, shaking his hands. A young blonde girl, in sunglasses, walks over to embrace him tightly. Soon people are giving him big hugs, which leaves a profound impact on Janne by the end of the video.
