U.S. shoppers have already spent close to $25 billion online this holiday season, marking a 15% increase in ecommerce since last year, comScore says. Cyber Monday had its biggest year ever, with $1.2 billion spent online.

“These highlights represent another very positive sign for the holiday shopping season, as the week following ‘Cyber Week’ often experiences relative softness in spending momentum due to retailers pulling back on their promotional activity,” comScore wrote in a statement.

The number reflects the first 39 days on the months of November and December.
