This is cool, right?

Microsoft offered a sneak peek of its HoloLens on Tuesday, and although it looked really fun and will inevitably change how we interact with technology, we couldn't help but notice just how ridiculous it looks watching someone actually use it.

The demo involved a mixed-reality game the company calls "Project X-Ray," which projects the game onto existing walls and onto your body and well, it looks like something out of Back to the Future.

Some also claimed that the demo was a little embellished.

I am thrilled about the potential of HoloLens, but these demonstrations are as close to the actual experience as 1990s toy commercials.— Chris Plante (@plante) October 6, 2015
