Home Theater Chair Vibrates in Sync With a Movie's Action

Scary movie scenes have caused viewers to shudder for years, but soon their furniture may do the shuddering for them.

Tech company TremorFX has come out with home theater chairs that are actually synced with a film's onscreen action. So, whenever explosions, gunshots or punches take place in your favorite Michael Bay movie, for example, the chair's rumble units vibrate accordingly.

TremorFX was already making similar theater chairs for commercial sale, but the Tremor FX Home system is designed specifically for use in your living room. The seats are wireless, and TremorFX is putting them on display for the first time this weekend at the CEDIA EXPO in Denver, Colo.

TremorFX hasn't listed a sale price for the home theater seats yet, but they are available now, according to a company press release.

Would you use vibrating theater seats while watching movies at home? Tell us in the comments, below.
